No, but we'd prefer that you do so we know the repairs will be done well and in good time. We also guarantee the workmanship of our approved repairers for as long as you continuously insure your vehicle with us.
It's also cheaper for you – if you decide to use your own garage, we'll charge an extra £250 excess, in addition to any other policy excess. You'll also need to get an estimate first, before we agree costs and repair methods with them.
If you're not completely satisfied, the first thing to do is to speak to the repairer and ask them to put things right. If you're still not happy, contact us.
